Six big names in audiovisual will be recognized for their work and excellence dedicated to the industry.

EXPOCINE EXPOCINE the largest Latin American convention for the film and audiovisual industry, will honor six leading figures for their work in the Brazilian film industry at its 12th edition, taking place from September 30th to October 3rd. A traditional annual feature of Expocine , the honors recognize the work of companies that have excelled in recent years in the exhibition, distribution, and production sectors. For 2025, the event features a new category honoree, incorporating the manufacturers/providers and public management segments. Another new feature is that the Expocine will be presented at the event's opening ceremony on the evening of September 30th at Cine Marquise in São Paulo.

In the exhibition market, Cine Gracher will be celebrated for its 110-year history. Founded in 1915 with the former Cine Esperança in Brusque, Santa Catarina, the company now has 34 theaters in nine cities in southern Brazil, maintaining its relevance as a regional reference.

In the distribution segment, the event will honor Vitrine Filmes . Celebrating 15 years of success, the distributor has established itself as one of the leading independent film distributors in Brazil, with over 190 titles released. Furthermore, it boasts renowned initiatives such as the "Sessão Vitrine Petrobras," which is also celebrating its 15th anniversary. During this period, it has expanded screenings to more than 30 cities, digitized classics, and launched an app with a loyalty club, reinforcing its commitment to audience development and the appreciation of Brazilian audiovisual content.

In production, Gullane will be honored as one of the biggest in Brazilian audiovisual. It recently released the series "Senna," a co-production with Netflix that reached the global top 10 and was nominated for a Critics' Choice Award, premiered the film "Motel Destino" at the Cannes Film Festival, and presented the animated film "Noah's Ark," scheduled for distribution in over 70 countries. It also stands out with its own distribution label, Gullane+, and the consolidation of a new board of directors, strengthening its national and international presence.

Barco and Dolby installed in theaters across more than 200 exhibitors. In the public management category, Spcine , a film and audiovisual company based in São Paulo, will be honored for its 10 years of existence and impressive achievements, including a record number of films attended by the São Paulo Film Commission with 1,168 productions, the expansion of the Spcine Circuit with 12 new theaters, the growth of Spcine Play, which doubled the number of users, and R$53 million invested through the Paulo Gustavo Law in 183 projects. It also recently strengthened its gaming front with new grants, laboratories, and the launch of the Mobile Hub, in addition to continuing to expand its international presence and preparing the third edition of its cash rebate program.
